Privacy Policy

We collect the information you submit to make a film: recipient name, relationship, occasion, optional memories, selected photos, optional clips, selected star photo, email address, order status, gift link, and payment status.

We also collect basic technical data needed to operate the site, such as request headers, timestamps, IP-derived security signals, project identifiers, upload metadata, device/browser information, referrers, UTM parameters, ad click identifiers, and abuse-prevention counters.

Most information comes directly from you when you create a preview, upload media, reserve an order, pay, or contact support.

Some information is collected automatically by the site, hosting platform, payment processor, analytics tools, ad-conversion tools, and security systems when you visit or use the service.

We use your information to create previews, process payment, render final films, deliver private gift links, provide support, prevent abuse, measure ad conversion, and improve reliability.

We do not sell your photos. We do not use your photos or clips in marketing without permission. We do not use your photos or clips to train our own models.

When analytics or ad pixels are active, conversion events are limited to product and campaign measurement. We do not intentionally send names, email addresses, raw media, gift links, or private project identifiers in those events.

We use service providers to operate the product, including hosting, private storage, payments, queues, render workers, media generation, analytics, ad conversion tracking, and support tooling. Current or planned processors include Vercel, Vercel Blob, Stripe, Inngest, Fly.io, fal.ai, OpenRouter or similar model-routing providers, Resend, PostHog, Meta, X, and Sentry.

Processors receive only the information needed for their role. Payment card details are handled by Stripe, not stored by My Video Gift.

Preview and gift pages use private, unguessable links. Anyone you share a link with may be able to view that page, so treat gift links like private invitations.

We keep order and media files while needed to provide the service, support the order, and maintain records. You can request deletion of your photos and clips by emailing hello@myvideogift.com with the order email or gift link.

Some minimal records may remain when needed for payment, tax, fraud prevention, dispute handling, security, or legal compliance.

Many family gifts include children's photos, videos, or voices. We process them only to provide the gift film and support the order. Do not upload content if you do not have the right and consent to share it.

My Video Gift is not directed to children under 13. Children should not create orders or upload media directly.

Do not upload highly sensitive documents, medical records, financial records, explicit material, or anything you would not want processed by the service providers needed to make the film.

You may ask us to delete photos, clips, or an order; correct an email address or name; or answer what information is tied to an order. Email hello@myvideogift.com.

You may also email hello@myvideogift.com to opt out of sale or sharing for targeted advertising where those rights apply. Browser, device, and ad-platform privacy controls may also limit tracking.

We use HTTPS, private link tokens, access controls, limited provider payloads, and operational monitoring to protect submitted media and order data.

No internet service can guarantee perfect security, so please avoid uploading content you would not want processed by the providers needed to make the film.
